Singapore has been the pioneer in Tamil Computing since mid 1995. The late Naa Govindasamy made efforts to promote Tamil softwares in Singapore. His product were names as Kanian and Manavan Since his demise there were no further enhancement to his products. Things has changed and today UNICODE is the solution for web and publishing . Thus there is a need for singapore flavours which will be of global standards.

SInce 1998 a group of volunteers started conducting workshops known as Iniayathil Thamizh. It began in community clubs and several auditoriums. Over a period of 3 years more than 3,500 people were trained on how to install Tamil softwares and type in Tamil. We were using freewares made avaialble in Internet. Over 10years we realised that there is a need to have proper Tamil UNICODE fonts for the community. Students may need them for their school works. With the increase of the local community being IT savy we thought of coming up of the solutions for the community.

As we desire this year 2010 we are glad to annouce the launch of 10 beautiful Tamil Unicode Fonts which will work in Windows XP, VISTA and Windows 7. We will also have others products with cliparts and borders which could be used for various events in Tamil computing. We will also offer Dictionaries in various format and languages namely Chinese, Malay and Tamil for the multiracial community.
